This was a perfect weekend for a little
Cyclocross! We all went out to support Spencer, and to cheer Jonah on for his very first race!! He had looked forward to this race all week. He would tell me he had to go, "warm up", we would go out on the street and he would practice going as fast as his little legs would peddle up and down the neighbors hill, sometimes carrying his bike like he would have to over the obstalces in the race. He was a little nervous but was confident knowing his dad would be right there behind him the entire race. He did excellent and was so tuff, coming out of the saddle up the big hills. He and his cousin, Gavin, were the youngest ones out there and were neck and neck with their little legs just a peddling as they crossed the finish line with everyone cheering. I have never seen such a big smile on that kids face.
He really felt like one of the team and told me he was going to, "go hang out with dad for a little while by the team trailor and cool off with his water". OH, and he wanted to make sure he took his bike too :)
Spencer tearing it up! I hate to brag, but he won this race and took the state championship in his division! Yea dad!

Jonah watched closely how Spencer jumped the obstacles...

He wanted to do it all by himself, just like Dad. :)

I LOVE this picture (just wish it would have not been so blurry, I was having technical difficulties and was so mad it happend on Jonah's race!!!)
Check out the determination on that little face, and his dads face. Loving every minute of it!

My little rosy cheeked boy. Good job buddy!
