Our last summer hoorah!

Oh how we love Flaming Gorge Dam. This was our second year back to our traditional camping spot. The kids had so much fun, Camping is a lot of work for moms and dads... but they had fun too :)
My early risers. They are quite the fishermen!

Jonah's little rainbow trout! They caught so many this year. They let all the others go, but this one was dropped on his head, and didn't wake up ;(
Sister's awake! Wheww that was a LONG night. She was crawling all over me and saying "mom" while patting my face for most of that first night.
Jonah kicked back and said, "Now this is the life!" We were cracking up, where does he come up with these one liners?!
I think I was still half asleep. Megt is sure excited to start another day ;)

"Show me your beaver teeth"
Meg lived in this little tote all weekend to keep her out of the dirt. Adam pointed out this sign on the lid... oops
Our best purchase yet! The kids had so much fun hitting targets with this sling shot!

Our traditional Flaming Gorge picture.

My brave little jumper! This was about 10 feet high! He wanted to go off the big 20 footer that Spencer and I were going off.. we told him maybe next year.
My little sun bathing beauty.
The girls with the girls...
It rained every day at 2:00 for a few hours, we stayed dry and still had a great time!

enjoying some marshmallows over Adam's great fire. That kid is a natural camper!
This little angel went and went all day long with no complaining, she cuddled up to Spencer and was asleep in about two seconds! Loved this picture!
One might say these little guys are cute, but when we would turn our back on the table, 10 or more of these little guys would come out of the bushes and raid our table! They were like mice and chewed through everything and left little droppings all over the place!!! YUCK! but the kids still loved to watch them.
"MacGyver" He fixed our tent pole with a tin can, our cooking stove with some electrical tape and some wire... "Our dad can fix ANYTHING!"

Family camping is so much fun (and SO much work!). Such great memories. Your kids are all so darling, Brooke! Slingshots are a blast, what a great idea!
